I want to like you, but you give me every f***ing reason not to. You go out of your way to clap animals, you support Trump and oppose Bernie, and you come with an attitude more Kanye than even myself. You need to chill the hell down man! You got a great mind when you put it to work, your OCG bringings and your contributions to MaskeDAD prove you have a lot of potent in you, just the bad overshadows it all and it becomes hard at times to defend you sticking around. I change my opinion on you by the daily tbh, and this is just what I have rn.

You went from a****** to not too bad to a****** again to a joke. That Ultimate Falcon thread was one of the worst of TCG imo and only fuels my disdain for the trauma of YCM. Bah.

Sometimes you can be in the wrong direction of thought in spite of good intent, but otherwise I have always thought of you as the dude that is hard to hate outside of a few cringe posts that were long ago. I kinda wish we talked more, but at the same time I can say that with too many people, and is linked to that time when I decided to take way too much upon my shoulders and launch a CCG at the same time. I guess I am kinda apologizing for that now, otherwise keep doing you.

Also, ever considered fighting in the Leaderboard Colosseum?

Perhaps unfairly, but I am able to bear you less and less lately. There is only so much I can hear about your college bullshit and all and you seem to never stop by outside of that. It's troubling and I am getting sick of it at this point. Perhaps once classes cool down for you and y'all stop by with good intent I will cool down, but dammit man. The good times were good times, but now it's kinda....... yeah. I still owe you one though one of these days considering you are the reason I am even still on this site.

 

As for the Leaderboard thing, the direction Leaderboard has been going atm is not something I have been looking to support atm, so no

I'll do the question option:

 

1. Looking back on what has happened in 2099 since its inception, how do you feel about the progress it has made as a whole up until now?

 

2. What would be the best and worst times during your YCM career?

 

3. If you were given control over the card game (in other words, all of Konami's involvement in the game at present fell under your hand), what kinds of changes would you make (banlists, card designs, etc), if any?

You're misunderstood, really. You really are not too different for me in the sense that you are brutally honest and do so with the best intent in mind. And outside of that you have a rather enjoyable personality and make a solid set of cards. For being the youngest person I know to keep it 100, I give you a ton of credit. For the bit of times you have helped me vent through the bs of the times where I was barely hanging on, I owe ya. I've given you my share of sheet, but I have rarely had a time where I didn't feel bad afterward. I get why some people might have a problem towards you, but it feels like those people take themselves too seriously at times. Keep doing you!

Coolest guy on YCM. In terms of the people I would want to legit hang with if I ever met em irl, top 5 no debating (Top 5, Top 5, Top 5)

1. I feel up and down about it. I like the way it is going but I still got a lot to go before I create the perfect system out. The issue too is everyone being away and all at times can slow down the format way too much, to which I am attempting to learn to play around this. I hope to eventually cope with this and perhaps with a revised introduction I can hope for it to be a lasting thing in YCM. That being said, I am really looking forward to its future, especially since the whole schtick with DevPro me and Aslan are working on is almost ready to go.

2. Worst: That thread where I apologized. It was the best I could do in the state I was in, but that state was pretty pathetic. Otherwise my worst would be when I first started around here. I really was an jabroni

Best: Around February-May 2015, where DP Format was kinda doing its thing and I was becoming respected around there. Dread Angels were my primary Deck and I was really helping the format flourish. That time is where I earned my judge position in that format. Probably the other peak I had was in December when 2099 launched and we had the Skype group as beautiful as it was. Group is a lot worse now, but at that time 2099 had a really bright future. Nowadays I can't say which for sure.

3. I would aim more to focus on making the Decks more well rounded then the uneven nature a lot of Decks in Konami's hands have been (A good example being Fluffals where a lot of the Deck outside of a few ridiculously powerful cards is underwhelming). I also would aim to make more impactful sets, and mostly focus on bans/limits where needed rather then agenda based hits.

I have many ways I feel about you. Sometimes I get a good kick of your crude jokes, others I wish you would just funk off out of this place. I find it more difficult than Winter but I have a lot less to say about it.

1. Ask the other 3, I took a break from all that, will be back Monday at earliest

2. Those people that know where have mostly earned it in that I don't feel uncomfortable with it. That being said, I might fix it now that you found my FB. That being said, I don't use that facebook really outside of business sheet.

Can you tell me about your music career? It doesn't have to be detailed and doesn't have to drop names, just I am curious about it.

You're a great individual and in spite of being a bit passive at times, you can be really helpful in the background and have assisted me a but along the way. Out of the many people I consult, I would consider you amongst the people I would take the most value of what I get out of. Sometimes you don't always apply that as much, but never without good intent. You've given me a bit too many free passes, but all the more reason I rather appreciate you sticking around.

 

As for the music career, I work silently as a ghost producer in many ends of the industry. Basically whatever cuts the check, though usually focus on Electronic Dance Music. I've done a bit for big names, but not too many tracks that I can say were super big at one point. Even then, most of what I do I tend to do in joint with a good amount of other people around me. It's enjoyable, but it can be kind of offsetting in terms of having an inconsistent income and having to keep a closer eye, and I wouldn't say it is for everyone.

 

How do you feel about Speedroid stalking you?

I probably have more sympathy for you then I should, but I can relate a certain amount of degree to your personal issues. I hope they get better for you or that you can at least cope with them. Card making wise I see you as one of the users who eventually could be notable, probably one of the few I could say has potential. Could use some work at times, but I like a lot of your concepts and I see you getting better on down the line. Rather sad to not see such be reached before you left 2099, and the sentiment is shared by others.

 

If I was a mod on YCM, there is a lot I would do. First off, I would probably focus on the Custom Cards Section and assuming all the mods were the same as they are now, I would work close with Sakura to being a better overall environment. If this wasn't Misc, I would come up with a full description of this, and might do it anyway. In terms of Card Contests, CC Judge as a position I would probably push to strip away, or rework it to a much more strict standard. 1v1 I would push to either rework or drop altogether. If it were TCG, again better environment, and I probably would be a bit harsher then Evilfusion in terms of handing out warnings and bans tho being more interactive. Probably the same with General and Misc if I ever had to touch that. As for 2099, I would reorganize the pins, probably edit in new packs and singles myself, and perhaps push to put its points system on the panel of a user like how YCM has it's own point system as such. Probably is stretching it tho.

Wait, so you'd try to get rid of 1v1? Sorry Darkness, but I'd oppose you every step of the way if you tried getting rid of 1v1. Reform, depends on what that entails. Dropping? Hell no. Sorry, but couldn't keep my mouth quiet on that one.

Of course Striker, you run the joint so I expected you to be against it, tbh I expected a worse reaction from you. But realistically 1v1 is and has been on life support. Most people I know who I consider credible have given some accurate criticism to 1v1 and I have yet to hear any defense to it. People have given their feedback and yet I have failed to notice any major change. Assuming this remains the case, 1v1 has earned and is better off as a thing of the past.

5 Ways to Keep Up Your Spirits for 2099:

1. Interact with its members. A few aside, great group of people to be around and keeping em around has been a huge motivator for me

2. Get a few duels in during the week, even just like once or twice. Just post in the Dueling section of the Discord Chat asking for a duel, in the afternoon/evening at least Monkey will be up for joining likely

3. Frequently come up with card ideas, dropping them out on the Card Review part of the Discord Chat ain't a bad idea either

4. Check around what else people have submitted infrequently. Sometimes there are some interesting designs or even just to note competition and whatnot.

5. Vote when you can and put in requests when you can. Know your options too with em
