My apologies for the time off - visiting relatives and all that. Speaking of revisiting middlers....

Lore: 1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters

If this card was Synchro Summoned using a Zombie monster(s) as material, your opponent cannot banish monsters, also they cannot Tribute monsters they control, except monsters whose original Type is Zombie. While this card is in its owner's control, it gains 300 ATK for each FIRE monster in your GY, also it is unaffected by the effects of other cards with the same card type (Monster, Spell or Trap) as any "Shiranui" monsters in your GY. 

 

...I wish Thunder Dragons all the best at doing a thing with this card up.

 

NEXT UP: 

 

Make a Crusadia, (Level 7), Orcust (Level 8) or Guardragon (Level 9) Synchro, that specifically requires the one Tuner each of those Archetypes got (Brass Bombard, Justicia or Arboria) as Synchro Material.

Once per turn, if your opponent Summons exactly 1 monster whose ATK is less than this card's (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card; destroy that monster, then increase this card's ATK by 100 for each monster in your opponent's Graveyard. If your opponent Special Summons exactly 1 monster, except a monster whose Level is higher than this card's: You can destroy that Summoned monster, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower monster from your Graveyard. You can only activate this effect of "Skyroad Runner" once per turn.

If this card has three different Card Types Equipped to this card, this card’s ATK becomes double its original ATK and cannot be destroyed by battle.

Cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. This card gains ATK equal to its current Level x200, and all monsters your opponent controls lose ATK equal to half the ATK this card gains by this effect. If this card destroys your opponent's monster with a Level by battle or its own effect: Increase this card's Level by the Level of the monster destroyed. Once per turn, you can target 1 monster on the field whose current ATK is less than or equal to this card's original ATK (Quick Effect): Destroy that target, then draw 1 card.

 

At base, even without killing anything, the pop effect can get rid of any monster with 2100 or less ATK, which covers the vast majority of monsters your opponent will be throwing around at the start of the combo, so if nothing else this thing can interrupt and interfere with plays, and doubles as a decent beater with mildly good protection.

While you control a Token, switch the ATK/DEF of all Effect Monsters on the field, also your opponent cannot target cards on the field or in the GY with card effects, except non-Effect Monsters. The ATK of all "Compass Tokens" you control become 1300, also they can attack directly.

This Synchro Summoned card is unaffected by your opponent’s Spell/Trap effects. Once per turn, when a monster effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 FIRE monster from your GY; negate the activation, and if you do, if the banished monster was a “Laval” monster, destroy that card and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half its original ATK. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict tripled piercing battle damage to your opponent.

If a monster is Summoned to a Monster Zone in the same column as this card in the Spell/Trap Card: You can activate this card as a Trap Card; banish all other cards in this card's column, then Special Summon this card to your opponent's field.

 

Create a generic beater with an effect specifically designed to make removing it in any way but battle either too difficult to be worth it, or too punishing to be a serious option.

If this card is Synchro Summoned: Place 1 Meltdown Counter on all cards your opponent controls. If a card with a Meltdown Counter would be sent to the GY, it is banished instead. If this card leaves the field, unless it was destroyed by battle: Banish all cards with Meltdown Counters on them.

 

Next: A Warrior counterpart to a Synchron monster that doesn't have one yet (Unknown Synchron, Cyberse Synchron, etc.)

Let's gun for a Synchro with a Token Summoning effect this time. The catch? The Tokens have to facilitate a different type of Extra Deck Summon (Fusion, Xyz, Pendulum, Link, Ritual), and Summoning the Tokens must lock you to that Summon for the rest of the turn.

You can only use the following effect of "Ritual Impcanter" once per turn. If this card is Synchro Summoned: reveal 1-2 cards in your hand (1 Ritual monster and/or 1 Ritual Spell), and apply the following effect(s) (if both, in sequence), depending on the card(s) revealed:

Ritual Spell: Add, from your Deck or GY to your hand, 1 Ritual Monster that can be Ritual Summoned by the revealed card

Ritual Monster: Special Summon 1 "Impcanter Token" (ATK 0/DEF 0) with a Level, Attribute, and Type the same as the revealed monster. You cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn, except Ritual monsters.

Make a Synchro upgrade of Black Rose Dragon. This would be simple enough (and probably done to death), but this monster must fulfill the following conditions:

1) be able to use Garden Rose Maiden as the Tuner, and give a big payoff if you do.

2) synergize with the growing number of "Rose Dragon" monsters in the game

3) be a boss monster at least on par with Red Nova Dragon and Shooting Star Dragon

● (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up card on the field, then return 1 of your banished Plant monsters or "Rose Dragon" monsters to the GY; negate its effects, then, if it is a Monster Card, its ATK becomes 0, also if it is in Defense Position, it is changed to Attack Position and cannot be changed to Defense Position.

This card on the field is treated as "Mystical Beast of Serket". If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can activate 1 "Temple of the Kings" directly from your Deck or Graveyard. You can  only activate this effect of "Temple Guardian of Serket" once per turn. While you control "Temple of the Kings", this card cannot be destroyed or targeted by your opponent's card effects, nor can monsters you control with less ATK than this card be targeted for attacks. If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle: Banish the destroyed monster, then Special Summon 1 "Shabti Token" (Fairy-Type/EARTH/Level 1) with ATK and DEF equal to the number of your opponent's banished cards x200, and if you do, this card gains ATK equal to the ATK of that Token when it was Summoned.

Create a Synchro that, along the lines of Ib, grants greater access to a Spell/Trap lineup that was already good, but would definitely see more use if it was more accessible.
