[INOV] Pot of Avidity

Recommended Posts

It doesn't say that it has to be YOUR banished monsters, so shuffling back Kozmo ships with this is an option (though they can just get them out again via the Field Spell, though they'll at least be in the Deck and not where it can let Kozmotown return them to the hand, and setup again). Suppose it's also nice for retrieving stuff banished via Macro Cosmos, Dark Law and other things.

Not too sure about other stuff though, but it's nice.

This card could be used in or against a Kozmo deck, and a Different Dimension deck which has characteristic in their banishing style, plus it also offers a +1 like many other pots does....., and the best thing is that it is versatile as a Quick-Play magic card....

I'm a bit confused in the part where it shuffles into "the" deck, since it targets 3 monsters, both yours and your Opponent, where will the recycled cards go, your deck, or your Opponent, or respectively?

Seems like a staple side card for the Kozmo mirror if you ask me. +0 disruption that's easy af to make live and can help your own plays as well. Also helps out a good number of rogue things like the Destiny Hero engine.

>no form of OPT whatsoever

U wot.

It doesn't fit every deck, no. But in things like Shiranui you can find yourself will all your monsters pretty much spent after a single cupidity, and you don't have any good targets left for Uni. So putting Mezuki back to your deck instead of waiting for Omega allows you to continue to go off, banish Mezuki again, and THEN put it back with Omega.

That's pretty redonk.

I don't think Kozmo will find much need for this card. They've already got Kozmotown, ways to add it, and effects to Special Sunmon them.

Is this the only Pot that draws 1 instead of 2?

PKs were mentioned. There's also Banish Rock stuff (Block Dragon) and Blazing Mars to make it live.

Mirror being the emphasized word in the post you quoted. You can use this to get rid of opponent's banished stuff or, at worst, use it yourself as a +0.

Wait, can someone tell me a deck that's actually good that banishes enough to make this consistently live that actually wants the cards to go back into deck instead of going into Omega? s:

Well Allure might be cause for it to be useful!

Blue Eyes can't make Omega too easily right now (need to go through spirit)

Might have uses in Kozmo? Synchron decks have a bunch of tuners that banish and Omega is too slow.

Atleast they were smart enough to make it not work with Cupidity

Ah; I see. Thank you.

This might have an application in Infernoid, being Quick, you can at worst use it to screw over some of your opponents, and they certainly banish enough stuff to make it work, the only problem is that the Deck isn't necessarily where you want your monsters.

Into the Void is probably better, but maybe...

I don't think this is very good proactively, but it definitely seems good for disruption.

Even then, only seems good in mirrors/pseudo-Mirrors. PK is the only deck it seems okay in, and... it's only a cantrip.

I agree. It has potential in the side-deck, but not many decks can really use this where shuffling your banished cards back into the deck is most ideal. ABC need their monster banished to set up for the float; zambies would rather put Mezuki back in the grave; and really, it works for PK because they don't really have any other means to recycle their monsters and this just works for an easy +0; but even then it's just a draw 1.

Why not? Not all decks can make Omega easily. Somone already mentioned Malicious, but something similar can be construed for Allure and such
