Toon Dark Magician
Level 7 DARK Spellcaster-Type Toon Effect Monster
ATK 2500
DEF 2100
(1) Cannot attack the turn it is Summoned.
(2) While you control “Toon World” and your opponent controls no Toon monsters, this card can attack your opponent directly.
(3) Once per turn: You can discard 1 “Toon” Card or “Manga Ryu-Ran” your hand to activate one of the following.
• Special Summon 1 “Toon” monster or “Manga Ryu-Ran” from your Deck, ignoring the Summoning conditions, except “Toon Dark Magician”.
• Add 1 “Toon” Spell or Trap Card from your Deck to your hand.

XD

They actually did it! I didn't think they ever would! They even made this thing a toon linchpin.

Its effect is really nice and it only has a soft OPT, so you could deck thin by ditching and grabbing Toon spells if you have multiples of this. Unfortunately, it doesn't have easy summoning conditions which is really what might hold it back in full toon.dek.

Toon Dark Magician + Toon Buster Blader = Toon Dark Paladin?

Seriously, they really should consider making Toon Fusions or something, just because there's so many Toon Fusion Materials now. Toon Skull + Toon Red-Eyes = Toon B.Skull Dragon. Blue-Eyes Toon x3. Toon Ancient Gear Golem.

And this card is actually very good, by SSing Toons from the Deck, ignoring SS conditions, or by searching Toon S/Ts.

This is why I still have this hunch that Toons will eventually get a card that enables them to Fusion Summon the original Fusions, using the Toon counterparts as substitutes of their respective Fusion materials.

And yeah, Summoning Toons straight from the Deck is really cool.
